Adding a visible authentication layer to existing packaging

In tea and FMCG, counterfeit risk frequently begins with replication of the packaging itself. The evaluated route adds a customised security hologram label to the existing pack, creating an immediate visual authentication layer.

Depending on the risk model, the label can be combined with tamper evidence, serialisation or QR-based verification. Packaging surface, adhesive, roll and application format, applicator speed and line compatibility must be validated before production.

A secure label architecture designed to resist transfer and copied product identity

In automotive and spare-parts applications, a security label should not be treated as a branding sticker alone. Physical authentication, tamper behaviour and, where needed, serial or QR identity should be selected around the actual packaging, component and service-channel conditions.

The evaluated structure combines a customised holographic security label with VOID, destructible or comparable tamper evidence, optionally supplemented with variable QR or serialisation. Behaviour on carton, metal, coated and plastic surfaces must be validated separately.
